Why is My Bill Higher than Normal?

Your bill is based on the amount of water measured on your meter. If your bill is higher than normal, we recommend to read your meter and compare your reading to the reading on your bill. 

If your reading is lower than the reading on your bill, then give us a call immediately to let us know of the error. We will send someone out to verify the reading and make an adjustment as needed. 

If your reading is higher than the reading on your bill, then we suggest looking for a leak. Leaks can range from easy to find to much more difficult to locate. If you and your plumber determine a leak is on the City's right of way, please call us to have our crew locate the issue and create a plan of action.
