Adjustments on Repairing My Leak

There is no law which requires a municipality to make a reduction in a water bill based on a leak on the customer's side of the meter. However, any account holder may request an adjustment for a leak by contacting the Mayor or BOA. A receipt showing repairs made to correct the leak will be needed in order to be placed on the agenda for the next board meeting. The BOA will approve or deny a leak adjustment based on the facts given.
